Reset a forgotten password

Locked out? Reset from the login page with your email — a secure link lands in seconds.

    Open the login page

    Head to localbillboards.net/login, or click Log In in the top-right of any page.

    Click "Forgot password?"

    Under the two sign-in cards, click the small Forgot password? link. A modal slides in — no redirect, you stay put.

    Enter your email and send

    Enter your account email (if the username field already looked like an email, it’s pre-filled). Click Send Reset Link.

    Check your inbox

    In about 30 seconds, an email titled "Reset your Local Billboards password" arrives from support@localbillboards.net. Open it and click the link.

    Set a new password

    The link opens a new-password page. Type it twice, watch the strength meter go green, and click Save Password. A green banner confirms it — then sign in with the new password.

Tips & Common Issues

  • No email? Check spam / junk. Whitelist support@localbillboards.net once and it won’t happen again.
  • Reset links are single-use — an old one bounces you back to sign-in, so just request a fresh link.
  • Already logged in? You can also change it at Profile → Password → Change. See Change password from your profile.
  • The old password stops working the moment you save a new one — use the new one from here on.
