Create an Announcement

Announcements are short, loud messages — think "Now Hiring", "Open Today", or "Free Wi-Fi." You can build one in under 3 minutes.

Before you start

  • Logged in to your dashboard

    Pick the Announcement template

    On any playlist tab, click an empty Announcement tile (the megaphone 📣 icon) — or open Create Content from the sidebar and grab the Announcement card.

    Fill in headline, subtext, and colors

    Type a HEADLINE (5–7 words is the sweet spot — "Now Hiring", "Free Wi-Fi", "Open Today") and keep SUBTEXT under 12 words. Pick a BACKGROUND color or image, then set the HEADLINE and BODY TEXT colors for contrast — white on bright or dark on light.

    Save the tile

    Hit Save. It’s stored on the current playlist and the tile thumbnail refreshes right away with your design.

    Toggle On and push

    Flip the tile’s toggle to On, then click the green UPDATE button in the sidebar to push it out. See Sync your displays.

Tips & Common Issues

  • •Stick to two fonts/colors max — clean reads better from a distance.
  • •Eyeball it from across the room. Can’t read it at 10 feet? Size up the text or boost the contrast.
  • •Build seasonal messages (Halloween, holiday hours) once, then just toggle them On/Off each year instead of rebuilding.
