Upload images and videos

Upload your own photos and short videos for backgrounds, product shots, or full-screen tiles. They land in your gallery, ready to reuse.

Before you start

Open Upload Content

In the dashboard sidebar, click Upload content — Upload files & videos. The gallery uploader opens in the main area.

Click "Choose File"

Click Choose File to open your file browser, or drag a file straight onto the dashed drop zone — an image or short video from your computer.

Wait for the upload to finish

A green progress bar tracks the upload. Bigger videos take a while — keep the tab open until it hits 100% or the file won’t save.

See it in your gallery

Once it finishes, the file shows as a thumbnail in your gallery grid — rename it, delete it, or drop it into any tile that takes custom images or video.

Use the file in a tile

Open any editor (Announcement, Advertisement, Menu, and so on). When it asks for an image, click the gallery picker and your new file is right there to select.

Tips & Common Issues

•Best sizes: 1920×1080 px for full-screen tiles, 800×600 px for product photos. Bigger files load slower on remote screens.
•Formats: images as JPG, PNG, GIF; video as MP4, WebM. Convert MOV and HEIC first.
•Your gallery is private — no other Local Billboards user can see it.
•Clips over 30 seconds may not loop cleanly between rotations — keep them short and seamless.
